Diagnosis
The wings are pale grey, the forewings distinctively darkened by a series of fine, oblique grey and brownish fasciae that converge on each other towards the apex, some being sharply angled back subcostally.
Taxonomic note
Poole (1989) placed the species in Eublemma.
Geographical range
Old World tropics and Mediterranean to Queensland, New Caledonia and Fiji.
Habitat preference
In recent surveys a single specimen has been taken in an area of disturbed lowland forest at Semongok near Kuching.
