Eublemma bosara Holloway sp. n.
♂ 10mm. The wings are medium brownish grey, irregularly fasciated paler, but with a conspicuously darker and more irregular fascia medially that forms the distal boundary to a more uniform brownish grey basal area. The general appearance is somewhat as in the geometrid genus Bosara Walker and unlike that of other Eublemma, apart from the greater robustness of the body. However, the male abdomen is typical of Eublemma, with the central process of the valve slender, somewhat as in carneola Hampson (see below), but relatively longer, narrower and more spine-like.

Geographical range
Borneo, Peninsular Malaysia (Barlow colln).
Habitat preference
The only Bornean specimen is from lowland dipterocarp forest. Those from Peninsular Malaysia are from cultivated slopes with forest fragments at 600m.
