Eublemma latistriga Warren

Diagnosis

The general facies is as in perversicolor, but the wings are a medium dull brown that does not darken to the fringes over the marginal quarter. Straight fasciae have the dark component broader, with only a faintly paler edging distad. The male genitalia are as in E. quadripunctata and similar to those of perversicolor, the narrow valves with a central, acutely triangular setose process.

Poole (1989) retained latistriga in Autoba.

Geographical range

N.E. Himalaya, Peninsular Malaysia, Borneo.

Habitat preference

The species is frequent in forest from the lowlands to 1000m.
