Eublemma pollocki Holloway sp. n.
♂ 9 mm. This species is similar in size, wing-shape and grey colour to commoda, but has more extensive fine black markings over the wings. The dark bar at the hindwing dorsum is less emphatic and more obviously the terminus of two submarginal rows of chevrons; there is also a similar postmedial row and a straighter fascia between that and the discal mark. The fasciation of the forewing is more broken, but there is a blackish triangle on the costa medially, and the apex is intersected by a dark streak from the angle in the postmedial. In the male genitalia, the valve processes are of the Vescisa type, with the rounded saccular one very similar to that of commoda, whereas the costal one, instead of being tongue-like, is enlarged and extended further up the costa, to which it appears to be partially fused.
