Eublemma caretifera Holloway sp. n.
♂ 6mm. This species is similar in colour and size to rufiplaga, but the distal margins of the wings are less strongly curved, particularly that of the forewing. The fasciation is more obscure, vinous, with the submarginal punctate on the hindwing and consisting of chevrons on the forewing. The subcostal chevron is rendered conspicuous by being picked out with pale blue. The male genitalia have a curved, rather spine-like central process to the valve, and there is a distinctive, bluntly triangular process on the costa adjacent to it, with the costal margin distal to it shallowly sigmoid. The genitalia of ru fiplaga are similar, but the valve is deeper with the costal process larger and the central one broader. The distal margin of the costa is only very slightly sigmoid.
