Corgatha viridicinctalis Holloway sp. n.

♂ (holotype)

♂ 7mm. The facies is similar to that of albicinctalis except the white subcostal markings on the forewing form an entire line that, just beyond a slight kink to the discal area, curves around subapically to pass submarginally to the tornus. It is edged exteriorly by a green band that is broadest at the apex but narrows posteriorly. This is reversed on the hindwing where the white and green line runs irregularly close to the margin except at the dorsum where the white line follows a sinuous course away from the margin, and the green component expands slightly. On all wings the green component is edged by a fine black line distad that then gives way to a further narrow green band and then another black one at the margin. In the apical zone of the forewing, this outer band has a white mark interior to it near the strongest curvature of the inner white line. The male genitalia of the two species also differ. Whereas albicinctalis has a relatively short and bulbous uncus, that of viridicinctalis is moderate, slender, of even width. The saccular process in albicinctalis is based more distally on the valve, but is shorter and slightly more spoon-like, rather than evenly curved.
