Diagnosis

See C. implexata. The wings are a relatively uniform rufous colour typical of much of the genus, but are distinguished by a series of white streaks separated by black along the forewing costa.

Taxonomic note

The only specimen seen from Java, a male, has facies as in typical niveicosta. However, the genitalia (slide 21122) has valves that are almost twice as broad, with a much shorter costal process and a longer, narrower, tapering saccular process.

Geographical range

Borneo, Peninsular Malaysia; Java.

Habitat preference

The holotype is labelled merely as from Sarawak, but seven specimens were taken in lower montane forest during the Mulu survey, three from 900m on the limestone G. Api and four from 1000m on G. Mulu.
