Corgatha albilunata Holloway sp. n.

Image of [object Object] Holloway ♂ (paratype)
♂ (paratype)

♂♂ 10mm. In size and facies this species is very similar to griseicosta. However, the white patches distal to the forewing postmedial are much more prominent, with that in the most posterior position very much larger than the more anterior two; there is sometimes a fourth much smaller one anterior to these as well. The postmedial itself is straighter, and the ground colour of the wings is a more rufous brown. The male genitalia have the valves narrower than in griseicosta, with the costal process extending beyond the apex of the cucullus, outturned rather than inturned. The saccus is rounded apically rather than acute.
