Arctornis plumbacea Swinhoe comb. n.

Diagnosis
Both plumbacea and ouria Collenette (See Arctornis ouria Collenette comb.n ) have rather translucent pale brown or greyish brown wings with, on the forewing, a diffusely darker discal spot and a sinuous postmedial row of spots. The forewing margin has a diagnostic central angle in plumbacea, and the postmedial row of spots is nearer the margin, broader. Females of each are much paler, the ground colour bone-white.
Geographical Range
Peninsular Malaysia, Sumatra, Borneo.
Habitat Preference
This is a rare species of lowland forest, but records from near the Danum Valley Field Centre indicate it can persist in logged forest.
