Arctornis oranaphtha Holloway sp. n.

♂ 16mm, ♀♀ 17-19mm. The facies is as in naphtha, but the male genitalia have the valves more tapering and the harpe more irregular, directed ventrally beyond the ventral margin and invested with numerous moderate spine-like setae that are more robust at the apex.

Geographical range

Borneo.

Habitat preference

All material has been taken on the Brunei coast in a mixture of open habitat, forest and mangrove.
