Diagnosis

This is another species with slightly greenish areas to the wing membrane, and also blackish shading at the wing margins, though not in such distinct triangles as in marginalis. White scaling on the forewing is diagnostically denser in patches at the end of the cell, subapically, subtornally and centrally at the margin. The hindwing also has denser marginal areas.

Geographical Range

Peninsular Malaysia, Borneo.

Habitat Preference

Material has been taken infrequently, mostly in the lowlands, but with singletons from 1000m on G. Mulu and 1618m on Bukit Retak, Brunei.
