Diagnosis

There is a male specimen reared from Cinnamomum (Lauraceae) at Tarat in Sarawak by S. Kueh that is smaller than galene, with distinctive pale brown fringes to the wings. The head colouring is similar. The genitalia are also like those of galene but have the harpe slightly bulbous subapically and with the scobination more extensive.
