Diagnosis
This is the smallest of the pale yellow species and has less falcate forewings that are distinguished by a prominent, rufous discal spot. The male genitalia are also distinctive, indicating the species is not closely related to any of the previous three: the uncus is narrow, tapering, and the valve has a curved spine apically in addition to the harpe.
Geographical Range
Borneo, Peninsular Malaysia, Sumatra.
Habitat Preference
The species is never common but has been recorded from a wide range of lowland forest types, including heath and coastal forests.
