Diagnosis
The sexes are a similar disparate size to those of nivipetens and are a dark brown. The female is uniform in colour. The male has the veins of the forewing slightly darker, and there is a the hint of a paler band in the same position as that in nivipetens. The hindwings have a similar slight pinkish violet tinge to that of nivipetens.
Geographical range
Borneo, Sumatra.
Habitat preference
This is a species of lowland forest, including heath and coastal forest.
