Diagnosis
This species is another danaine mimic, resembling Euploea radamanthus Fabricius. It is marked with white patches and streaks on dark brown as illustrated, the more extensive areas of white at the centre of the forewing costa and at the base of the hindwing being distinctive.
Geographical range
Sumatra, S. Thailand, Peninsular Malaysia (ssp. triangularis), Borneo (ssp. rhadamantha).
Habitat preference
The original material of rhadamantha is just labelled ‘Sarawak’. No more recently collected specimens have been seen.
