Taxonomic Notes

This species is misplaced in Aiteta, to which Pseudelydna is sunk on p. 99. Kobes (1997) associated the species with Xenochroa but not in formal combination.

The structure of the male and female abdomens supports such a placement, though the tymbal organs are not as complex.

Geographical range

N.E. Himalaya, Singapore, Sumatra, Borneo, Palawan (ZMUC).

Habitat preference

The moth is found in lowland forest but is uncommon.
