Diagnosis
The forewings are a pale ochreous brown, the hindwings paler, fawn.
The forewing medial zone is paler, bounded by irregular, oblique antemedial and postmedial fasciae, the former bidentate centrally basad and the latter unidentate centrally distad, such that the centre of the pale medial band is twice as broad as the rest.
There is also an irregular, pale submarginal fascia.
Geographical range
Borneo, Sumatra.
Habitat preference
The holotype was taken near Sandakan on the east coast of Sabah.
Only one other specimen has been seen, a female from dipterocarp forest at 170m near the Danum Valley Field Centre.
