Diagnosis

This and the next species are smaller than crassa and alticrassa, with straighter forewing postimedials and more brownish grey hindwings, though still yellowish over the basal half in males of inconspicua, which also have a rufous tinge to the base of the forewing. The male antennae of both species are ciliate. Females of the two may best be separated on genitalic characters, indicated in the diagnosis of the next species.
