Eugoa alleni Holloway sp. n.
♂12mm, ♀ 13mm. The forewings are less heavily suffused with dark brown than in bipunctalis and thus appear more contrasty. The antemedial is more hour-glass shaped as in aequalis, and the basal edge of the postmedial is less sinuous than in bipunctalis, though still with a slight angle at one-third from the dorsum. Compared to bipunctalis the male genitalia have the uncus smaller, the distal half of the valve longer, narrower, more strongly incurved, but with a much smaller apical projection. The aedeagus vesica has a similar tapering diverticulum and curved sclerotisation in the ductus ejaculatorius but is smaller.
