Hyposada meyi Holloway sp. n.
♀♀ 16mm. This species is larger than astona or hydrocampata but with similar rather elongate wings and general fasciation in pinkish brown on dull yellow. These colours are, however, brighter even than in postalbata with which it shares a white discal spot on the forewing. This spot is more prominent and ringed with blackish. The hindwing has a strong central whitish fascia that is finely edged black basad. The most distinctive features are several oblique to longitudinal streaks of dark reddish brown with black on the forewing situated as follows: the length of the wing subcostally; across the tornus in continuation of the central hindwing fascia; a brief streak at the margin between these two. The hindwing has a similar but more extensive streak to that cutting off the forewing tornus. The abdomen has a dark transverse bar dorsally at the position of the central fascia of the hindwing. The female genitalia are typical of the genus.
