♂♂ 8-9mm. The facies is similar to that of serendipitatis except the hindwing postmedial is more clearly defined, and the darker submarginal marks (somewhat diffuse in serendipitatis, zigzag on the forewing, even in size) are more prominent in bipunctata and much more variable in emphasis, with two marks much more heavily emphasised on the hindwing (one subdorsal one, the other just anterior from central). The more anterior hindwing mark has a weaker counterpart adjacent and slightly anterior on the actual margin. The male genitalia are somewhat as in hydrocampata but the valve costal process is distally only slightly bilobed rather than strongly bifid.

Geographical range

Borneo.

Habitat preference

Two specimens are from lowland dipterocarp forest, but the third is from an altitude approaching the lower montane zone.
