Diagnosis
This and S. actuaria Walker are two of the smallest of the straw/fawn coloured species, with the fasciae relatively straight. The wings of inficita are narrower, the fasciae straighter, the postmedials lacking the black flecks seen in actuaria.
Geographical Range
Flores, Bali, Timor, Pura, Tenimber; Philippines, Borneo (ssp. philippina).
Habitat Preference
Only three specimens have been located, the holotype, probably from the lowlands of Sarawak, one from Labuan I. and the other with no altitude data collected by Waterstradt on G. Kinabalu.
