Diagnosis
This is the smallest Bornean species, with dark grey fasciae and suffusion on a white ground. The fasciae meet the forewing dorsum more or less at right-angles rather than obliquely. The male antennae are narrowly bipectinate.
Geographical Range
Sri Lanka, India, Taiwan, Hainan, S. Burma, Peninsular Malaysia, Borneo, Philippines, Sumba; N. Australia.
Habitat Preference
Three females have been taken in Brunei, all from areas of coastal and secondary vegetation (Seria, Mumong), and the species was frequent in samples from cocoa plantations at Tuaran in 1997.
