Diagnosis

Only females are known, but the species appears to be allied to those immediately following. It is distinguished by reduction of the yellow submarginal areas of the forewing to two small patches on the distal margin and one at the centre of the costa that only partly embraces the discal spot.

Geographical range

Borneo, Sumatra, Peninsular Malaysia.

Habitat preference

The species is rare, only taken in the lowlands. In recent surveys, only two specimens have been recorded, both from forest at 300m in the Ulu Temburong, Brunei.
