Toanopsis sp. 20696 Holloway sp. n.

A female from Poring at approximately 600m on the eastern side of G. Kinabalu resembles a larger (13mm compared with 12mm) version of engenes, more richly coloured and with a paler medial zone to the forewing and basal half of the hindwing. The genitalia (slide 20696) are similar to those of engenes and particolor, but the ostium is flanked more by square pockets on each side rather than being in a general pouch.
