Diagnosis
The wings are a medium, dull, rufous brown, sometimes with a vinous tinge. There are darker postmedial fasciae, fine, zigzag, irregular in their curved course, somewhat punctate in their blackish component. There is a similar antemedial in the forewing, together with a diffusely darker medial fascia through the obscurely bipunctate reniform; there may also be a reniform dot. Identification is best confirmed from the male genitalia.
Geographical range
Borneo.
Habitat preference
The holotype comes from about 1000m on G. Penrissen in Sarawak. Four specimens have been taken at 1620m on G. Kinabalu (Holloway, 1976; as homala). Another was recorded at 1790m on G. Mulu.
