Toanopsis cyclophora Holloway sp. n.

Image of [object Object] Holloway ♂ (holotype)
♂ (holotype)

♂ 10mm. The wings are a deep vinous brown as in particolor and ichingae, and obscurely fasciated as in engenes, but the species is distinguished by the discal marks: the reniform of the forewing is deep dull orange; and the larger spot on the hindwing is yellow. The genitalia resemble those of the previous three species but there is little bilateral asymmetry in the valve processes which are extremely robust, the exterior ones with distinctive marginal combs of blade-like setae. The uncus is dorsally plumed. The aedeagus is long, slender and centrally flexed. The coremata of the eighth sternite are robustly developed.
