Pomasia nuriae Holloway sp. n.
♀♀ 7-8mm. This is probably the smallest of the vernacularia complex and is characterised by a broadly pale band, expanded distad at the disc, in the medial zone of the forewing. The bursa of the genitalia is also small, with neck and bulb approximately equally sized and spined, unlike any of the species from gelastis to luteata above. Two males from Penang (slides 18748, 18749) with similar facies may belong to this species. The aedeagus is small and the valves are characterised by a distinctive peg-seta towards the distal end of the pleat, and rather rounded saccular lobes (Fig 377).

Geographical range
Borneo, ?Peninsular Malaysia.
Habitat preference
Both specimens are probably from lowland localities, the one with precise data being from alluvial forest.
The species is named for Núria López Mercader, assistant to the author from 1995.
