Pomasia luteata Holloway sp. n.

♂♀ 9-10mm. The facies is somewhat more yellowish than in most species, particularly towards the forewing apex, though this is not marked in some specimens. Again, the genitalia provide the only really reliable diagnosis. Males have the uncus slender, the valves relatively narrow, with the saccular process also narrow, elongate, longer than inlamunin andlacunaria. The female has a scattering of spines in the basal half of the neck of the bursa with the distal half together with the base of the bulb immaculate. The rest of the bulb is extensively spined.

Borneo, Peninsular Malaysia (slide 18662).

Habitat preference

The few records range from the lowlands to the upper montane zone.
