Diagnosis
See L. subrasata above. The ventral arm of the valve in the male genitalia has no distinct subapical flange: this is fused with the broad basal section to render the arm almost rectangular.
Taxonomic Notes
The genitalia of L. modesta indicate conspecificity with hyalodela.
Geographical Range
Sundaland, Sulawesi.
Habitat Preference
The altitude range is from 1000m to 2600m but with the greatest abundance encountered in the upper montane zone.
