♀ 10mm. This species has distinctive modifications to the basic Eugnathia facies. The base of the hindwing and the forewing costal band are slightly mottled white, but this colour recurs over most of the distal two-thirds of the hindwing beyond a broad blackish antemedial band. The costal band in the forewing is terminated at a prominent white arc that curves from the costa to the tornus, with an extensive green zone basal and posterior to it and the costal band, the same area that is green in xenia. Distal to this arc, the wing is variegated white and blackish grey, with an oblique postmedial white streak from the costa leading to an obscure whitish series of marks that curves more or less parallel to the white arc. The genitalia are typical of the genus in having a long, coiled neck to the corpus bursae, but this is not as long as in most other species examined and has a swollen, corrugated and scobinate portion just distal to the horn-like appendix bursae that gives rise to the ductus seminalis. The ostium has a bifid component and is flanked by a pair of pouches interior to the short apodemes of the eighth segment.
