Diagnosis
The grey versus dark-stippled fawn bicoloured zoning of the wings is diagnostic.
Taxonomic Notes
The genitalia of a Himalayan male are illustrated. One Bornean specimen is male but has lost its abdomen. In the female there are more definite pouches laterally on the seventh segment, and the ductus is somewhat shorter. The Bornean population may therefore be distinct.
Habitat Preference
Three specimens have been taken in primary forest at Danum Valley Field Centre, Sabah (one in Herbulot colln).
