Diagnosis
The facies is somewhat as in females of C. faganaria (below) and both sexes of the next two species, particularly the centrally angled distal border of reddish grey area of the wings, almost dividing the narrow yellow margin. It is distinguished by the elongate white discal mark on the hindwing and the fine, arcuate, pale postmedials of both wings.
Geographical range
Peninsular Malaysia, Borneo.
Habitat preference
In recent surveys two specimens have been taken at Badas in Brunei, an area of lowland forest, including swamp forest. Most older material is also from lowland localities (Sandakan and near Pontianak) apart from one specimen with no altitude data from Mt Marapok.
