Cerynea retakensis Holloway sp. n.
♂ 13mm. The facies is similar to that of rubra and igniaria, tending towards the latter in the more sinuous course of the forewing postmedial and the shallower angle of that of the hindwing. The male genitalia lack the twisted blade-like valve process of igniaria, having a more robust, digitate one as in rubra. However, this is longer, its apex more distal on the valve than in rubra but not as much as in igniaria.

Geographical range
Borneo.
Habitat preference
The only specimen is from upper montane forest.
