Diagnosis
This is a small species with pale ligneous brown forewings of Callopistria shape, though the markings are plesiomorphic, the stigmata unmodified and the white submarginal markings typical of the genus absent. Other features have been discussed in the generic introduction.
Taxonomic Note
“Callopistria” concinna* Prout appears to be misplaced in its current combination. Features of the male genitalia, particularly the lobes to the tegumen, may indicate a closer relationship to Ecpatia Turner, Eulepa Walker and “Euplexia” monilis* Moore as discussed in Part 13, p. 59.
