Diagnosis
The species resembles a very large elisa or elisoides. In the male genitalia the aedeagus vesica has several rows of cornuti, often robust. The valves are elongate, asymmetric, apically swollen, darkened and pilose; the basal costal processes are long, subequal and strongly curved; the processes from the tegumen are large, apically bulbous.

Habitat preference
The species has only been taken in the Kinabalu area (by John Waterstradt) but altitude is not indicated.
