Diagnosis
The yellow spots of the forewing are more even in size than in either of the next two species. The yellow area of the hindwing encloses a small black spot more or less centrally (not at all in tetragonaria and more anteriorly in prepuncta).
Taxonomic Notes
This and the next three species belong to the pfeifferae Moore group as discussed by Obraztsov (1955).
Geographical range
Borneo, Natuna Is.
Habitat preference
The species is rare, known only from two males: the holotype from Mt. Lundu near Kuching, Sarawak; a single male (BM slide 4163) from Bunguran, Natuna Is.
