Diagnosis

This is a large, pale yellow species with the wings almost entirely suffused with a pale reddish grey except at the margins and in a sinuous postmedial fascia on the forewing. The male genitalia have the uncus square as in dyssema: the distal margin of the valve is distinctly stepped as illustrated.

Geographical range

Sumatra, Borneo.

Habitat preference

Two males were taken in wet heath forest at 150m on a river terrace just west of the Melinau Gorge. An older female specimen is from Kuching.
