Diagnosis

This species is more bluish green as in the last two, larger than P. spiniseparati and the same size as clarifimbria. Diagnostic features of the male abdomen are discussed below. In the female genitalia the ductus is very short, the ostium narrow, with a broad, angular, postvaginal sclerotisation.

Taxonomic Notes

The male genitalia and eighth segment of the type material of falsaria and griseifimbria are very similar: the valves are rather rhomboidal with a serrate saccular flange and a central rather setose thinning of the lamina; the aedeagus is short, with a ventral sclerotised ridge with a serrate edge.

Geographical Range

India, Borneo, Java, Bali.

Habitat Preference

Bornean material is from upper montane forest on G. Kinabalu (1200-2110m) and G. Mulu (1790m).

Biology
