Pelagodes waterstradti Holloway sp. n.
♂♂ 18-19mm. The green is relatively dark but the fasciation is typical. Diagnostic features of the male abdomen are: robust processes on the eighth segment with stronger curvature basally and a long spine and two or three smaller subsidiary ones anteriorly; long, slender, upcurved valve costal processes that extend beyond the apex of the valve; only a weak step in the valve ventral margin; a juxta terminating dorsally in two slender, closely adpressed rods. The last feature is seen also in the Javan specimen (slide 4098) attributed to verariaand one from Sumatra (slide 4144): these have the costal and eighth segment processes different.
