The facies is typical of the group.

Characters of the male abdomen are diagnostic as follows: the eighth segment processes are relatively short, straight, terminating in three unequal spines; the valve is similar to that of *rana.*Holotype ♂. Mt. Marapok, Dent Province, Brit. N. BORNEO, BM geometrid slide 8678.
