Metaemene melinau Holloway
♂♂ 8 and 9mm. The two specimens are rather worn but the facies is similar to that of other species in the atrigutta / niasica complex, perhaps closest to that of collina. The male genitalia have the dorsal processes of the tegumen lacking, and the ventral processes are reduced to a short, conical spine directed ventrally; there is a small conical spine interior to each of the latter also. The valves have the cucullus rather long and narrow. The central process is simple, spatulate, though with a shallow transverse ridge more basally on the sacculus; the interior margin of the sacculus is obtusely angled. The aedeagus ornamentation is similar to that of niasica.
