Taxonomic note
The facies and genitalia of Himalayan (tesselata) and Bornean (marmorea) males are indistinguishable. This facies type is also seen in more easterly species that may also be referable to Manoba; sveral were taken in Seram by the author in 1987 (slides 14392, 4393). The series identified by slide 14393 may indeed be tesselata.
