Diagnosis
The forewings, particularly medially (distal to the strong, double antemedial), and the dorsum of the body are distinctly greener than in corythus. The male genitalia are very similar to those of corythus but the harpe is slightly shorter and more robust.
Geographical range
Burma to Sundaland.
Habitat preference
The only Bornean specimen seen is the holotype from Labuan I.
Biology
The mature larva (Bell & Scott, 1937, ex Piepers) is blackish brown, dotted with grey and with a dark dorsal stripe.
There is a pale dorsolateral stripe on the head and thoracic segments.
The horn is long.
