Macroglossum poecilum Rothschild & Jordan

M. poecilum is represented in BMNH by old material from G. Marapok in Sabah that was overlooked in 1987 for Part 3. This material was not mentioned either by Rothschild & Jordan (1903), who only recorded the species from the Ryukyu Is.
