Lymantria (Spinotria) temburong Holloway sp. n.
♂♂ 14mm, ♀♀ 21-22mm. The facies is like that of L.barlowiSchintlmeister but a darker grey, with the markings clearer. The forewing discal chevron is entire rather than punctate, and there is a more distinct, broader, paler zone between the postmedial and the submarginal. The hindwings have a slightly more distinct dark border. The male genitalia have the dorsal arms of the valves long, distinctively evenly curved, arising more basally than in other members of the strigata group. The ventral arms are straight, slender, arising much more distally.

Taxonomic note
Chung et al. (2008) illustrated a larva and an adult female of a lymantriine that they identified as L. temburong Holloway. The larva was found feeding on Octomeles (Datiscaceae). However, the larva is distinctly orgyiine with three yellow brushes dorsally atop a body that is dull orange with orange setae on verrucae. Tufts flanking the head on each side, directed forwards, are long and black-topped. The moth lacks the black discal V-mark seen in most Lymantria, including temburong, but is variegated greenish, with a white and green V at the disc. Its identity has not been determined.
