Diagnosis
This is a much darker species than the other named ones, with (seen more clearly in females) the forewing chevron broken into three elements and with the antemedial more obscure, distally convex, its general line meeting the dorsum obliquely. The valves are slender as in sarantuja and the next species, but incurved. The juxta is usually broader, bilobed distally.
Geographical Range
Sumatra, Borneo.
Habitat Preference
The species is frequent in lowland forest, including heath and swamp forest types.
