♀ (paratype)

Lyclene fusciramorum Holloway sp. n.

♂♂, ♀♀ 8-9mm. The ground colour of the forewings is a rich pale brown, marked darker as in multiramorum. The hindwings are fawn, grading grey to the margin or wholly darkish grey. The male forewing cell is not apically narrowed, but M1 is part of the radial sector branching system in both sexes, resembling females of multiramorum. The male genitalia are similar to those of multiramorum except the aedeagus vesica has a fan of six large spines that increase in size along the row. The female genitalia are also similar except the central thickened section of the bursa is much more extensive.
