Lyclene classeigera Holloway sp. n.

♂ 8mm. The facies is as in cuneigera, but the genitalia indicate this is a distinct species. The sacculus of the valve has a central interior angle and a straight, tapering apical process. The aedeagus vesica has a single massive cornutus.

Holotype ♂ SARAWAK: Kuching, Semongok, 3-9.ii. 1976 (E. W. Classey), BM arctiid slide 5328.

Geographical range

Borneo, Sumatra (slide 5340).

Habitat preference

The type locality is an area of forest amid general cultivation in the lowlands of Sarawak.
