Lyclene falciseriata Holloway sp. n.
♂♂, ♀♀ 7-9mm. In facies the species is similar to apiseriata, but the male genitalia have bilateral symmetry, the apex of the costal process of the valve being robust and hooked downwards. The saccular process is shorter but upcurved. The two cornuti are not as large or as blade-like as in some other members of the biseriata group, set well apart on the body of the vesica.

Other material*. A probable female (slide 5368) was taken at Site 23 in forest at 250m on the lower slopes of the limestone G. Api, and several other specimens were taken in various lowland forest sites during the Mulu survey.
Geographical range
Borneo.
Habitat preference
The species is infrequent in lowland dipterocarp forest, extending up to the lower montane zone at 1000m.
